Although there were a lot of times when 2008 did not seem like a very good year (usually these feelings were a result of the sluggish economy), I am happy to say that 2008 came to a very good end for me personally. The reason that 2008 ended so well was thanks to my boyfriend. While I was expecting a great gift from him for Christmas (not because I’m greedy or demanding, but simply because he is the type of guy who honestly loves to spoil me), I had no idea that he was going to get me such an amazing gift.

The gift that he got for me was a travel package for the two of us to go to Paris together right after Christmas was over. Not only did we get to be in Paris for the end of 2008, but we also got to stay there for a couple of extra days and kick off 2009 together. In addition to this trip being my first time to go to Paris, it was actually my first time to travel outside of the country, so I’m sure it’s not hard for you to imagine that this was quite an amazing experience for me.
