For quite some time, I had really wanted to go to Paris. About a year and a half ago, I decided that I was tired of dreaming and wanted to make this trip a reality, so every month, I started saving a little bit of my paycheck specifically for an amazing trip to Paris.

After just a little over a year of saving every month, I had enough money to take the kind of trip that I wanted to Paris. Since I knew that I had the funds to do it, I got online and started searching for deals on trips to Paris. I was so excited when I came across a package that included a flight, hotel and rental car, because it actually cost less than I was expecting. I booked the package, and two months later, I was on my way to Paris.

I spent ten days in Paris, and it was everything that I hoped it would be. While saving for a year may seem like a big sacrifice, I honestly would have saved for twice as long if I had to in order to get the opportunity to experience the trip I had to Paris.
