It didn’t really sink in until last week, but my thirty-first birthday will be taking place in three weeks from tomorrow. Even though it does mean that I am getting a year older, that doesn’t mean that I don’t enjoy this special day each year. The reason I like my birthday is because I always look forward to seeing all of my friends and family together in one place. On just about all of my birthdays, my Mom hosts a great birthday party at our house, complete with plenty of food and fun for everyone who comes.
Since I do like taking the opportunity to celebrate my birthday, I decided to plan something extra for myself this year. Not only will I be having my party, but I will also be taking a trip to Paris. I have wanted to go to Paris for a couple of years now, and I decided that this would be the perfect opportunity to make my wish come true. I have never understood why some people like to travel by themselves, and that’s why I am taking my best friend to Paris with me. When I started planning the trip, I thought it was going to get expensive, but it actually didn’t cost as much as I thought it was going to cost. It turned out that the reservation that saved me the largest amount of money was the Paris car rental. With a little help from some free online tools, I was able to research all of the available car rentals, compare their rates and reserve the best deal being offered on a Paris car rental. Now that all of the reservations for the trip are made and my birthday keeps getting closer, I am really excited to leave for my trip!
