If you are visiting Paris on a vacation or business you are in for a great trip. Paris is home to some of the classiest people in the world. This city is full of world landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and renowned famous restaurants. Most importantly don’t forget the vineyards. Don’t you dare leave Paris without having a sip of its exquisite wine. When you grab your car rental after you leave the airport, the car agency may ask you for your flight number.

Before you flip out at the counter there is a specific reason that car agencies need that flight number of yours. Most car agencies will track each flight that one of their reservation holders is on. They need to make sure that the flight is on time in order to hold your rental for you. If something happens to your flight or it gets diverted they more than likely will give the car to another person who wants it. This means that if or when you get to your destination you will have to choose an alternate car. They do this not to be mean, but they just cannot hold every single car that each person wants.

Another reason car rental companies will ask for your flight number is because some clubs have benefits and special discounts they will issue you. They must confirm that you boarded and completed the flight first before they can give you the special that they are advertising. Of course every dollar saved is a dollar earned that you can put toward a lovely bottle of France’s “finest”.
